Weber introduces an all new wrap-around bottle label applicator

F=Geset 121 wrap-around label applicatorWeber Packaging Solutions has launched the versatile Model 121 label applicator, a cost-effective solution to low-volume wrap-around bottle labeling that is as accurate and flexible as similar labeling systems used in larger-scale operations.

The new Model 121 features the fast and accurate positioning of full, overlap and partial wraps of pressure-sensitive labels on straight-wall bottles and other cylindrical containers. Products up to 7" in diameter and up to 12" high easily can be accommodated using the system's adjustable guide rails.

Bottles are delivered to the system's built-in label applicator head via a 7.75"-wide, 45"-long belt conveyor, which permits product transfers at both the entry and discharge ends. The unit operates at up to 65 feet per minute, and is capable of a placement accuracy of ±0.03".

The Model 121 can be integrated into existing production processes or operate as a manually-fed, stand-alone bottle labeling solution. During application, labels are peeled away from the liner and securely affixed to products through the use of a wipe-on applicator and integrated wrap station.

This is a perfect cost-effective solution for craft brewers and smaller wineries that do low-volume in-house on-demand labeling of their products.
