 On-Line Bar Code Verifiers
Weber's series of on-line bar code verifiers can help when complying with customer specifications. By verifying bar codes as they are being printed, the models guarantee high first-time read rates and data accuracy.
Compatible with Weber's broad line of label printers, each verifier model attaches directly to your thermal/thermal-transfer printer and reads bar codes as they are produced.
The verifiers employ a moving-beam laser scanner to decode all popular bar code symbologies. Having a scan width of 6.0", they are ideal for verifying bar codes on retail, automotive and nutrition compliance labels.
Both Weber models can discern among different symbologies, as well as check validity against traditional and ANSI specifications. Their flexible programming permits the checking of invalid formats, ratio problems, quiet zone errors or other potential pitfalls.
If a bad bar code is sensed, the verifiers can send a signal to sound a warning alarm, or even stop printing to prevent other bad bar codes from being produced.
