Operable with Weber's bar code wedge devices, LS 4000 scanners recognize all popular bar code symbologies. First, bar codes are scanned; then the information is automatically uploaded to a wedge for subsequent use with virtually any computer platform. An optional fully integrated laser wedge is available for PC environments. Featuring today's most sophisticated performance capabilities, LS 4000 scanners are ideal workstation tools for tracking documents, work-in-process, and shipping and receiving transactions. With their advanced bidirectional laser scanners, the units can decipher damaged or poorly printed bar codes for improved efficiency and accuracy. Plus, their unique, frictionless scan engines demand less energy, extending the life of the scanners. The scanners are ergonomically designed to ease repetitive scanning.
