Weber's long experience with thermal-transfer print technologies and compatible label materials has given us a broad understanding of exactly which ribbon is best suited for any application.

We offer a complete line of thermal-transfer ribbons for a diverse range of applications. All ribbons are formulated to ensure high-density bar codes, text and graphics with a wide variety of printers, plus they're fully tested to ensure compliance with printhead manufacturer specifications.

Weber's thermal-transfer ribbon line includes:

Fastprint Ribbons - Our General Purpose Wax Ribbon can be used on a vast range of materials. It offers a competitively priced, high-quality print on most standard applications, combining smear-resistance with modest scratch resistance. Low energy, wax ribbon for use on matte, semi-gloss, clay or latex-coated stock.

Fastprint Plus Ribbons - For product identification, shipping applications, compliance labelling and other general applications, we recommend the Fastprint Plus ribbon. This all-purpose ribbon is wax-based and compatible with Weber's extensive line of paper, film and vinyl materials. This ribbon produces high-resolution bar codes, text and graphic images.

Duraprint Ribbons - Weber's resin-based Duraprint ribbon offers enhanced abrasion resistance on most thermal-transfer label materials at a very economical cost. It's recommended for Weber's Flextuff drum labelling materials and other durable film label applications. Compatible with Zebra, Datamax and Sato printers.

Ultraplate Ribbons - Our Ultraplate ribbon is ideal for applications where superior abrasion is required. The Ultraplate's resin base provides additional bonding to Weber's highly durable, polyester Ultraplate material, available in white, silver and clear.

Coloured Ribbons - Improve your packaging appearance with wax-based coloured ribbons made for Zebra, Datamax and Sato printers. Using the same label materials, you can colour code your products in red, blue, green or brown. Many coloured ribbons are stocked and ready for shipment. (Bar code scanability must be tested when using coloured ribbons.)
