Zebra S4M Plus Series Thermal-Transfer Label Printers From Weber

Weber’s S4M thermal/thermal-transfer printer from Zebra is designed for budget-minded operations that require high-quality print resolution and dependable performance.

This economical printer handles pressure-sensitive labels and tags up to 4.5” wide and 39” long. The unit produces sharp text, graphics and scannable bar codes at 203 dpi, and at speeds up to 6” per second. An optional print head provides higher-resolution, 300-dpi quality at the same print speed.

The S4M printer is built with a die-cast metal enclosure and sheet metal frame to withstand harsh industrial environments. Its front control panel features a streamline menu for simple navigation, and its proven side-loading design eliminates label and ribbon threading for quick, easy installation.

In addition, the S4M offers various means of connecitivity – from serial, parallel and USB interfaces to optional internal Ethernet or wireless – for simple system integration.
The printer has 8 MB standard RAM, with optional memory upgrades. It operates in conjunction with Weber’s exclusive Windows®-based labeling software package, which quickly guides the user through the designing and printing of labels.

Weber also manufactures a broad line of pressure-sensitive label materials for both direct-thermal and thermal-transfer printing. A variety of compatible thermal-transfer ribbons also are available.
