Weber’s Model 2600 Series printer-applicator is a lightweight, in-line unit that merges true economy with the functionality often associated with heavier-duty labeling equipment. The result is a system that combines high-quality label printing with simultaneous application for fast, consistent pressure-sensitive labeling.

Designed, engineered, assembled and available only from Weber, the Model 2600 Series offers a selection of on-demand, thermal/thermal-transfer print engines from renowned manufacturers Zebra and Sato. The units print 203- or 300-dpi text, bar codes and graphic images at speeds up to 12” per second, and will dispense labels up to 4.5” wide and 6” in length.

Utilizing the tamp-blow method of application, a printed pressure-sensitive label is peeled from its liner and is retained by vacuum on the applicator’s tamp pad. The pad is extended (8" standard stroke) and blown onto the product or package from approximately 0.25”.

The standard applicator pad can be adapted to various label sizes, and is provided in a quick-change configuration. In just a few seconds, the tamp pad can be removed and another fastened in its place to handle a different size label.

Standard features include durable anodized aluminum construction, an external user interface with LCD display, easily accessible inputs/outputs to facilitate the use of a product sensor or other optional accessories, and stepper-driven rewind.

The exclusive Model 2600 Series operates with Weber’s Print-Apply software, which simplifies label formatting, editing and printing. Weber also manufactures a wide variety of stock and custom pressure-sensitive labels, and provides application-specific ribbons for thermal-transfer operation
