Prime Label Account Manager
Position Description: Seeking a direct sales representative for a territory based in the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast that will generate revenue and support corporate ad sales management goals through the sales of Weber’s prime label products to major prime label users. Develop new customers and achieve retention of existing accounts. Candidate will work out of a home office. Weber Marking Systems is a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial labeling systems, including label printers, label printer-applicators, RFID systems, plus p-s labels and other consumables.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Four year college degree
- At least five years experience selling prime labels preferred.
- At least five years experience selling flexible packaging, folded cartons or shrink sleeves will be considered.
- Experience calling on vertical markets in consumer goods, health & beauty, food, pharmaceutical, medical or nutraceutical.
- Selling style required will be value added and strategic. Consultative type approach but still aggressive.
- Experience selling or knowledge of digital labels and advantages to customers.
- Comfortable calling on upper level management, packaging engineers and brand managers.
- At least 60% of time will require prospecting. The candidate needs to have the skill set to prospect, be professionally persistent and have the mentality to prospect.
- The candidate needs to understand opportunity funnel management principles.
- Knowledge of Oracle CRM and Outlook a plus.
Field Service Engineer
Position Description: Responsible for all corporate Field Service programs dealing with Electronic and Mechanical Label Applicator and Printer products throughout the United States. Responsible for geographical area within a 200 mile radius from Baltimore, MD. Possible travel outside of territory 50% of time.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Repair of stand alone printers, applicator equipment and peripherals.
- Provide phone support to Legitronic customers.
- Provide support to Weber sales personnel when required.
- Maintain a parts, tool and test equipment inventory and company car.
- Daily contact with Service Dispatch, parts order and technical support departments.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Education required: College or Technical degree; Military schooling in electronics or equivalent experience. Bench repair experience on computer printers, computers (PC) and industrial controls desirable. Two years service experience in the computer/ industrial controls field or military required.
