On-Line, Unattended Laser Scanners
Weber's compact and ultra-compact unattended laser scanners from Datalogic are in-line reader/verifier systems specially designed to operate with our print-apply and label application equipment.
As labeled packages move down a conveyor, bar codes are read by a moving-beam scan head capable of scanning symbols up to 78 inches away. Scanning bi-directional at up to 1,600 scans per second, the unattended units provide fast, accurate bar code readings.
After the information is scanned, the built-in decoder translates the data and sends it to another device such as a host computer or programmable controller. All popular bar codes – including Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128, Codabar, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8 and EAN-13 – can be read.
A selection of compact and ultra-compact models ensures that Weber can provide the ideal unattended scanner for a specific application. An optional package dectector makes it easy to sense approaching products and readies the unit for scanning.
